On Friday morning, 28th September, 2007, at the Buckden Millennium Community Centre, a very large, excited and buzzing group of ladies got together to join in the Keep Fun & Fitness class where they bounced, pumped and toned their way into the weekend and...
...after all the sweat, laughter and tears joined everyone else for a lovely cup of coffee or tea and a small sweet treat, expertly organised by Julie and her gang from the Millennium Centre for the WORLDs BIGGEST COFFEE MORNING to raise money and awareness for MacMillan Cancer Care. Along side the coffee morning a GRAND Quality Charity Sale took place in the main hall selling an array of fabulous goods together with a fantastic raffle. 99% of the items were donated by Val-erie Dodds and herself together with the help of her son, Chris, his girlfriend, and her very good friends put a lot of hard work and effort in order to bring the coffee drinkers something extra to the morning and help raise even more money for MacMillan. The amount raised by the tea's, coffee's and cakes amounted to £123 and the final amount from the Charity Sale was an amazing £600, making a grand total of £723.
