Laura's Williams'
 Fitness & Lifestyle Diary

Thursday 14th Dec - Fitness Salsa
Laura has been working very hard lately which is why she hasn't been able to make her weekly sessions.  Here are her comments on the very last classes of 2006 and my last entry for a while on her BLOG too.  I wish her ALL THE SUCCESS in 2007 and long may she continue with her personal quest to a fitter, healthier and slimmer lifestyle - I know she can do it! - Changing the way you eat and what you do is not easy and anyone out there who thinks it is or there is "quick fix" needs to read her words straight from the heart... Mel xxx

"This past year has been an incredible emotional journey for me. Although I've had the ongoing support and encouragement from both Mel & my Sister in Law, it's me who's had to change my emotional relationship with food.  A lot of people I come across find losing weight easy, but it isn't. It's not only the food side of things or the exercise regime's you have to follow weekly, it's the emotional side of things also.

In today's society overweight people are just seen as "greedy", people who don't know what it's like for us.  If you're an alcoholic, you get the help that's needed and people understand that, if you're upset or depressed in life, alcohol is something that these people turn to out of desperation.  The same goes for drug abusers.  However, if you're overweight, you're just "lazy" and "greedy".  This isn't the case.  I sustained years of torment and bullying through my school years, my only comfort was food.  It was something I turned to knowing I'll get my enjoyment out of it.  It was a vicious cycle.  If I dieted, I'd feel like I was depriving myself, I used to be emotionally and mentally drained by dieting, needless to say within a matter of a month I'd be back on the same route again.

This year I'd had enough and I was determined to do something about it.  It's taken me this long to sit back and think "Wow, I can do it" and actually be proud of my achievements. It's been a rollercoaster of emotions, I've had my bad weeks where I've just gone off track, but I've always continued to follow Mel's classes each week and I've made small adjustments every so often with my eating habits, and it's obviously helped.

To anyone out there who is trying to lose weight - you CAN do it. It doesn't matter if it takes months to lose a stone, you're still doing it. It's not about dieting, it's about changing you're lifestyle. It's about emotionally detaching yourself away from food. I always said to people "I can't do it" -
but as someone I used to know said to me once, "can't" isn't a word. The first step is wanting to change, and only you can do that for yourself, but with the support and encouragement from family & friends, you can do it.

I think my point in this was just to say, never judge an overweight person. We're all humans, we have feelings and emotions too, and we do have our own insecurities and problems we have to deal with. It's hard for anyone to stand up and say "Hey I'm going to lose weight" and actually do it. It's an extremely hard process. I know I've got a long way to go and I'm always going to "have my moments" but I wouldn't be human if I didn't. But I've come this far and I'm determined to carry on.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Mel especially for listening to me ramble on and giving me a shoulder to cry on when things got tough. She's given me the determination and encouragement that I've needed over the past 7 months, and I will always be forever grateful to her. I'd also like to thank my Sister in Law, who has plodded along with me to Pilates every Tuesday and made the night more enjoyable!

And last but not least - I'd like to thank you all for reading my BLOG weekly. You may or may not have made yourself known to me over the months, but just to know you're reading and willing me on makes me believe there are kind people out there who do generally care.

I shall now finish this essay!! I'll be back in the New Year ready and raring to go as usual.
Happy Christmas & New Year to you all. Laura xx

December 5th 2006 - Final weigh in and body statistics
Laura lost another 2lb's of weight, down another % of body fatis a dress size down all over (24/22 top and 26/24 bottom), another inch off her bust, another inch from her waist, nearly 3 inches from her hips, another 2.5 inches from her thighs and a 1.5 inches from her arms.  Not bad eh!!!!!!  Well done Laura - let's keep this kind of thing up in 2007 too!

Tuesday 5th Dec & Thus 7th Dec
No classes for Laura this week as she was unwell.  We did meet for a one to one to session, so more of that to come next week...

Tuesday 28th Nov & Thurs 30th Nov - LBT, Fitness-Pilates & Fitness-Salsa
LBT Class was nice this week, it was a smaller group and more compact and I felt more at ease and not so worried about what I look like when I'm wiggling all over the place!  Stayed for a bit for the pilates class, I was absolutely shattered though, and I still recon someone had attacked my pilates band with superglue because it seemed like I couldn't even stretch it! ha-ha! Wasn't able to do some of the balancing moves because my foot seems to still be quite sore but I managed the majority of it.  Was nice to have a giggle about my "lack of" energy though with Sam.

I saw Laura at the back of the Salsa class in tears of laughter last week due to some "new moves" I threw out to the group - in fact most people were in stitches, which was really great to see.  Clearly the influences of Strictly Come Dancing are filtering through but we got there in the end with a bit of practice.  Laura comments... I really enjoyed Salsa class this week, it was nice to get stuck into a new routine, even if I can't do half the moves!! (But it's funny watching everyone else from the back - shhh!)  Due to my cancellation of my operation I'll be attending next weeks class too which I'm glad about!

Tuesday 21st Nov & Thurs 23rd November - LBT & Fitness-Salsa
LBT Class was OK, although again it was way too hot in the hall!!! I had fun though never the less, although when I got home I realised I'd hurt the top/side of my right foot, so I was hobbling about for a few days!  I managed to hobble to the Salsa class regardless of my poorly foot (nothing can keep me away from my salsa class these days), I was a bit disappointed that I wasn't able to do more because of my foot but I still had fun.

Tuesday 15th November & Thursday 17th November - LBT, Fitness Pilates & Fitness Salsa
Laura brought two tops on Saturday, both size 22's!!  Below is a picture of her with the long t-shirt on which she loves!  She says... "it covers my bum & tummy and makes me look curvy!".  She also is considering going down another dress size on her bottom half to a 24 as all of her trousers, jeans and jogging bottoms are getting too big for her.  She got compliments at work on her top and some of them said they could see that she has lost even more weight which was nice! Even one of the assistants at a shop in Biggleswade mentioned how much weight she had so that gave her a real confidence boost!

She managed to have a nice "last night out" last Saturday, just had a few drinks, listened to some good music and just had a nice time. She won't be going out now until just before Christmas as she is working all weekends then has an operation.  Class-wise she felt really self conscious and just didn't feel "comfortable", although puts that down to her!  She enjoyed LBT once she got into it, but it was too hot in the hall (I agree!)!   She didn't enjoy Pilates as much as she did the previous week though as her back was really hurting again but she did do practically all of the class which she was proud of.  Laura enjoyed Thursday night too, once she got into it, and again, wasn't in the right state of mind initially but  had fun with her friend Zoe! She thinks that she has lost more weight over the past weeks and is feeling better and slimmer too!  I will be seeing her again for a final weigh in before her operation & Christmas!  She can't believe that she has only 2 weeks of classes left... so onwards and upwards, as they say!

Tuesday 7th November & Thursday 9th November - LBT, Fitness Pilates & Fitness Salsa
Laura attended all three sessions this week and bought along her best friend to the Fitness Salsa too.  They both looked like they were having great fun at the back too.  Her comments about the classes this week were... "Really enjoyed Tuesdays classes, minus me still feeling a little poorly and I did put my all into it and felt satisfied after both of them. I felt like I put a lot of effort into the pilates and I really felt the benefits too the next day!!  Also really enjoyed Salsa, it was nice to have a friend there to have a laugh with!  I'm hoping she'll start coming regularly now, so fingers crossed! OH and we both did some Salsa moves at the pub on Friday night.. The chicken move went down particularly well!  Colin (One of the Blues Brothers) copied the move too... so the chicken move is catching on!!!!"  Looks like my moves are making it out into the entertainment world too - can't be bad eh!  Thanks for the comments Laura - Photo's of her night out on Saturday...

Tuesday 24th October - Fitness Pilates
Laura completed the whole class in quite a packed out session in the Scout Hut due the the village hall floor being fixed.  As the rest of my classes were not running she promised to also try a few of my DVD's during the rest of the week...!  More next week...!

Tuesday 17th October - LBT & Fitness Pilates & Thursday 19th October - Fitness Salsa
Laura has had an amazing week this week not just with exercise but we met up for a one to one to check out weight, body stats, etc and the results have been fantastic and a great confidence and moral boost for Laura.  I know she always dreads getting on the scales and is usually in tears and she was convinced that she had put on all the weight that she had lost over the past months but I knew different and these stats only go to prove it.  So far, to date Laura has achieved the following...
Total Weight Lost - 2 stone & 9 lb's, Total Body Fat Lost - 2%, Inches Lost from Bust - 1.5 inches, Waist - 3.8 inches, Hips - 4.2 inches, Thighs - 1.5 inches & Arms - 1 inch.  She is still continuing to wear at a dress size less than she was in May and even finding some clothes she bought a month ago too big.  She has gone out and ordered a whole new "fitness" wardrobe as I would like to see her wearing something a bit more fitted to show off her new figure and give her more confidence too!  To say she was over the moon is an understatement and when she turned up for Salsa on Thursday she had the biggest smile beaming from ear to ear!  She sent in this lovely photo taken this weekend as she had a special do on at work and got all dressed up and she looks just fantastic.  She said that she got lots of comments and lots of "male" attention too!!!!!!!

Laura - Oct 2006

She has had lots of congratulations for friends and family members too and is finding that more and more people are noticing her weight loss and even her mum has commented on how great she is looking too.  It hasn't been easy and it still continues to be hard work but hopefully fun along the way and she is so happy with her progress that from now on it is onwards and upwards!!  Anyway, class wise she really enjoyed the LBT class, and didn't find the floor work as difficult as she did before, although there was a move or two she avoided because she knew it would upset her back and that is fine! She was pleased that she had worked through all of LBT class and she stayed on for the toning section of the pilates class, which worked out better for her.  Next week she is going to do the same plus have a go at one of my DVD's too!

Tuesday 10th October - LBT & Fitness Pilates & Thursday 12th October - Fitness Salsa
Laura really enjoyed the LBT class this week, and she felt that it was the hardest that she had ever worked in any class before.  She pushed herself just that little bit more, plus used the heavier hand weights and felt very happy with herself after the class.  Because she worked herself so hard in this class she wasn't too impressed when it came to the Fitness Pilates class, but she gave it her best shot.  It isn't easy doing 2 classes back to back and with her back still playing up a bit she could only do what she could (which is enough!) She tried her best and that is good enough for me!   On Thursday she turned up with all smiles and again, really enjoyed the salsa class despite the hall being very hot!!!  Laura is due to be weighed & measured next week and I know she is dreading it.  She thinks that she has put on weight but this simply can't be the case if she has had to go out and by new clothes in dress sizes smaller than she is and even those are too big she told me on Thursday.  Soon, she may start attending 4 classes a week especially as she is seeing progress with her weights and the fact that she doesn't want to give up on herself yet. She knows she is still having a lot of trouble with the food side of things, but if she wanted to give this all up then she would have done months ago.  She just needs to keep on pushing and motivating herself and know she will get there in the end!

Tuesday 3rd October - LBT & Fitness Salsa
Laura attended the LBT class on Tuesday and she really enjoyed it despite feeling pretty tired to begin with.  She found the floor exercises really difficult and didn't manage to do many as they hurt her back, but she did what she could and that is all I ask of anyone. She did however, use the purple hand weights, throughout the cardio/fat burning section (2lb) as she usually use the little pink ones (0.5lb) and she really did feel it in her arms the next day which was a good thing!  Laura thoroughly enjoyed the Salsa class, and she thinks that she has made a friend!  She asked her if she went to any other classes and she told her that she did so she may meet her at the LBT class on a  Tuesday night if she can!   Despite the exercise and rest in-between classes this week Laura's back is still hurting a bit and she puts it down to the hip/waist movements in Fitness Salsa although this is defiantly her favourite class and wouldn't miss it for the world.  She knows that the benefits of keeping her body and back moving far out way a bit of back pain and that if she gave up completely it would only make her back worse in the long run.  She hopes to attend 3 classes next week.

Tuesday 26th September - LBT, Fitness Pilates and Fitness Salsa
What a great week, fitness wise, Laura had this week attending 3 sessions.  She really enjoyed LBT on Tuesday although coming back after a bit of break mad her realise how little sense of direction she had a felt a bit all over the place! Although, I didn't think she was that bad and kept up with the new routine very well.  It must be in her mind!!!  Anyway, she was proud that she didn't stand at the back like she usually does and she used hand weights!  She still struggled a bit with Pilates, as her back hurts when she lays on it but she managed the best she could and at least she did it.  A lot of people in her situation I know would have just stayed at home and felt sorry for themselves but she turned up and did what she could and managed to get through 2 sessions with a reward of a nice hot bath to finish!

She really enjoyed Salsa, and she said that it was fantastic to be back!!  She didn't realise how much she had missed it until that night.  She had a good laugh with some new people that had turned up and all I could see was her smiling face at the back especially as the routine at the moment is to her favourite Shakira song!!  She was was singing and dancing away and at the end she told me that she had very little pain in her back - which is fantastic.  It just goes to show that with a little light gentle exercise and movement with some determination you can overcome anything!!!  Next week she is going to try and get to these 3 sessions again!

Tuesday 19th September - Fitness-Pilates
Laura is back
after taking nearly a month off of fithaven classes due to a bad back.  We kept in touch via email regarding eating habits, etc and she has tried a little light exercise in-between.  Anyway, tonight she managed the fitness-pilates class and kept surprisingly she felt OK since pilates!!  Now she is more aware of her limitations regarding her back problem she can work around things a lot more.  She was a bit scared before in class about just stopping or resting because she didn't want to think people thought she was lazy but she just did what she could and feel all the more better for and still felt like she had worked out too.  Sometimes it is very difficult to know what to do for the best when your back is concerned. Next week she hopes to up her anti and get to another session including the fitness-salsa if her back feels OK!

Tuesday 22nd August - LBT & Fitness-Pilates
Laura had fun in classes tonight although still feels lacking a lot of energy and the need to hibernate for a week!  It must be the change in the weather plus recovery from her night out and the extra work she is putting in too. However, she still came to class and put in just as much effort - so well done!   I have posted some pictures that she sent over to me to show me when she was a majorette and when she thinks she started to put on her weight and a lovely picture of her enjoying a night out with a friend at the weekend.  I am off for a while now but Laura promised me that she will do some of my DVD's at home plus get out and about more with her dog for long walks and keep as active and busy at work as she can.  See you all soon and for those of you who are helping and supporting Laura through this time, please can you make sure she keeps on track with her eating and exercise over the next two weeks - thanks!

Tuesday 15th August - LBT & Fitness-Pilates
I managed to see her for half an hour just before class to show her some Fitness-Pilates exercises that she can do at home to help a shoulder and back injury she is carrying at the moment.   With these exercises she will gain more range of movement and better flexibility so that she can start to feel ease in these areas.  She enjoyed the classes this week although she felt that she lost her energy half way through the second class as her back/shoulders were playing up a bit, but she did  feel better for it when she got home!  Her comments about the classes were... "I don't know what you were on last night, but whatever you had I'll have some of it for next weeks class!!!! ha-ha!"

Tuesday 8th August - LBT and Fitness-Pilates
Firstly I would like to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY LAURA!!!  Another turning point for her this week as she turned the ripe old age of just 20 years old!!!!  Laura attended two sessions this week and worked really really hard.  To me she seems to have a renewed motivation after her results last week, which is fabulous and will help keep her on track for the coming weeks and months we have ahead.  It is very very easy to become complacent and loose motivation and interest and this is where my job comes in.  She has had amazing help and encouragement from her sister-in-law Sam, who bought her a hand blender and Low GI book for reaching a stone weight loss.  She also helped her achieve her NEW LOOK doing her hair, (she is now officially a blond) and took the photo of her in her new clothes and just look at how fabulous she looks.  If you scroll down and look at the photo's I took of her initially you really can see how much weight and inches she has lost and how much better she looks.  A fantastic achievement!!!

Here are her comments about her NEW look... "I received some of my clothes today and both tops fit perfectly, but I thought they'd actually be too small but I am now in a size 22/24 top!  Also, my Mum has noticed the dramatic change in me today, as usually I only wear big baggy t-shirts around the house/going out, so it's a change for me to actually wear a fitted top and she saw how slimmer I looked, which is a good thing as she hasn't noticed before!  The new jeans I got are still a size 28, as I wanted to be safe and they fit fine although a bit baggy around the waist but not hugely big as I feel I still need to still get them over my hips but they are fitted jeans, so no more bagginess!"

Tuesday 2nd August - LBT & Wednesday 3rd August - Dance & Salsa Fitness
This week I saw Laura for a one to one session to measure, weigh and take body fat stats.  These stats are as follows...Her weight is now down 15 lb's (that is 1 stone and 1 lb), Body fat is down 2%, Body inches were really good with a whopping 3.3 inches less from her waist and 4.8 inches from her hips which she is thrilled about.  Her dress sizes have gone down from a 28 bottom and 26 top to now a 26 bottom and 24 top, with all of her clothes feeling far too big so she is going to treat herself to a few new clothes whilst she continued to loose more inches...  She attended the LBT class this week and tried out the Dance & Salsa Fitness too.  This is another great milestone that she has turned, so now we need to concentrate a bit more on the food side of things as well as keep the motivation still going with exercise and active, healthy living.

Tuesday 25th July - LBT & Fitness-Pilates
Another seriously hot and sweaty sessions attended by Laura this week.  She really enjoyed them both but is struggling with a few knee and back problems which I am going to address when I see her next week for her one to one and weigh in.  Apart from that another good week and hopefully will be able to attend the new Dance & Salsa Fitness class starting on Wednesday too.

Tuesday 18th July - LBT & Fitness Pilates & Wednesday 20th July - Fitness Salsa
Laura attended 3 very hot, sweaty and steamy sessions this week and really enjoyed herself.  She also told me that she has got herself a part time job which is fantastic news so good luck with that Laura and I look forward to even more fantastic sessions and seeing your hot and smiley face in classes next week too!  It is her birthday soon and she is looking forward to letting her hair down a bit and is off to London to meet up with friends and I am sure they will be amazed and impressed with her weight and inch loss so far.  Keep it up Laura - you are doing so well so far!!!

Tuesday 11th July - Legs, Bums & Tums & Fitness Pilates
Laura attended a back to back session this week and really enjoyed both of these sessions.  I recommended that she took a quick breather just before the end of the LBT class to have a banana and to change her top due to it being so hot and sweaty at the moment and she found this to be much better for the fitness pilates class afterwards.  She enjoyed both sessions and would like to continue with this regime for the time being.  Unfortunately, she couldn't attend the Fitness Salsa class this week but intends to make it next week for the last session of the term.  She is doing really well and against the heat too it isn't easy.  I will be arranging to see Laura again at the end of the month for another one to one and to reassess food diaries, weight and measurements too!

Tuesday 4th July & Wed 5th July - Legs, Bums & Tums, Fitness-Pilates and Flexible Fitness
Laura attended another 3 sessions this week as well as me seeing her on a one to one basis to check her weight, body fat, measurements, food diaries and progress too!  She has manage to loose another 5 lb's over the last few weeks, making it nearly 1 stone weight loss since I weighed her last.  Her body fat is down also and she has lost 3 inches from her waist and 1 inch from her thighs.  She says that her clothes feel looser and she is feeling a lot fitter, although there is still along way to go.  The food side of things is still very difficult for her but small significant changes each week is the key to making them a lifestyle change forever.  The classes she enjoyed this week but still finds them a challenge, especially the Flexible Fitness class.  She is coming back to Salsa next week and is looking forward to sizzling her way to fitness and health.  WELL DONE Laura - great progress and keep up the hard hard work!

Tuesday 27th, Wednesday 28th & Thursday 29th June - Fitness Pilates, Flexible Fitness & Fitness Salsa
Laura attend 3 sessions this week, which is fabulous...!
So despite is being a hot and humid week she battle with the heat and managed to stretch, flex, tone and sizzle into shape this week.  She said that she didn't enjoy the Fitness-Pilates so much this week, now she has had a little taster of the Salsa which is now her favourite class, and she enjoyed the Flexible Fitness but found if very hard and could still feel her muscles the next day and she really loved the Fitness Salsa and she was shimmying and strutting her stuff like a true pro!  Hopefully, more of the same next week!

Tuesday 20th & Thursday 22nd June - Fitness Pilates and Fitness Salsa
Laura attended 2 sessions this week and for the first time tried out the Sizzling Fitness-Salsa class.  She came to the Fitness-Pilates session with her sister-in-law Sam, and she is really getting into this class and she thoroughly enjoyed the Fitness Salsa class.  Although this was her first class and she was a bit apprehensive about it, she felt at ease immediately when everyone was chatty and friendly towards her.  She felt a a bit self conscious, but once she got into it it was good fun.  She felt that she was a bit rusty with all the dancing but with a bit of practice she will pick it up in know time.  So far this have been her favourite class so she is definitely going to continue Sizzling Salsa!!!

Tuesday 13th June - Fitness Pilates
Laura attended this evening Fitness-Pilates class with her sister-in-law, Sam.  She though the class was really good and enjoyed it a lot more than the last time time she went to this class.  She wasn't too keen on attending the LBT class because it's was so hot, and she felt that she may over heat.  She is going to attempt the fitness-salsa class this week hopefully, so watch out for more shots of her at this class!  I will also be organising her monthly one to one to assess food diary, weights, measurements and motivation too!

Laura working on posture, upper body strength & toning

Laura after our fitness walk together around Little Paxton

Tuesday 23rd May - One to One and LBT
Laura came along to Little Paxton Village Hall for her second one to one session with me and also to attend the LBT class as well.  I weighed and measured her again and she has manage to loose nearly 7lb's since the beginning of May, plus her body fat is down and she feels a bit looser in her clothes too.  This has not been easy for Laura but she is pleased with her progress and is happy that it is all going in the right direction!

Our one to one consisted of working with the resistance bands, body bars, stability ball and some fitness walking (in-between the showers).  I also worked on strengthening the back and abdominal muscles and flexibility too.  After that she attended the LBT class for more fun fat burning and toning and afterwards she certainly looked like she had worked out the hardest.   Laura is going to make bit more of an effort to be a bit more active in between classes by getting out and walking for longer, doing a fitness DVD and start the fitness-salsa class in June.

Laura at the end of her first LBT class

Tuesday 16th May - LBT
Laura attended her first Legs, Bums & Tums class and was fantastic!  She met another lady there, who comes every week, which helped keep her going.  She really enjoyed the class and can't wait to attend next week. She commented on how proud of herself she was of coming, because she was dreading it but she did as much as she could and was glad that she  gave it her best.  At the end of the class, she was laughing and joking with the other ladies and she said that this makes her feel so much better and at ease, comfortable with the session knowing that it is hard work but good fun too!

Laura has been finding this hard, but Food Diary improvements have been made by reducing and eliminating fizzy drinks, switching from white bread to wholemeal bread or wraps, adding low fat yoghurts, eating breakfast (nearly) every day, although this still needs a little work.  She has also made better efforts to prepare and eat freshly cooked and nutritious evening meals, drinking lots of water and the occasional sweat or savoury treat!

Tuesday 9th May - Fitness Pilates
Laura attended her first Fitness-Pilates class in the evening at Little Paxton Village Hall with her sister-in-law, Sam, who is also going to help, support and encourage her to get fit as well as work out some food plans too!  Laura enjoyed the session and feels that she is ready to tackle something a little bit more upbeat, dancey and funky as she used to be a majorette and danced for over 5 years with them before her weight gain.  Therefore, I have recommended that she attend the Legs, Bums & Tums next week!  She has also increased her walking around town or with the dog - which is fabulous.

Laura after her first one to one

Thursday 4th May - One to One
Laura is 19 years old,  is a Size 26, feels very unfit, suffers from lethargy, and has asthma too.  Her main aim during the next six months is to reduce body fat, improve and gain overall fitness, tone up, and to socialise more.  She is currently out of work, but is actively looking for a new job and attending interviews.  She has decided that she wants to change her career from working with nursery children to being in a computer/admin/office role.   This is another area that Laura wants to work on as she feels she lacks self confidence and esteem and feeling and looking better about herself with help with that.

My plan for Laura is to see her on a one to one basis once a month to help keep her on track and motivated during this time, plus encourage her to attend 1 to 3 classes a week.  So expect to see her bending, stretching, flexing and puffing her way through some really great sessions with you!

This photo of Laura was taken after she attended her first initial consultation and one to one session with me.  After taking all her vital statistics such as weight, body measurements, body fat analysis and an example weekly food diary I looked at how we could gradually increase more activity into Laura's schedule and how she could make small but significant changes to her eating plan in order to help her initially get fitter, burn fat and to assist  weight loss.

How it all started...

I was approached back in April by one of the producers of ITV's Jeremy Kyle Show to see if I would help out Laura with her quest for a fitter, healthier and more active lifestyle.  She attended the show back in January with family and weight issue problems.  Those of you who watch or have heard of the show will know that Jeremy deals with these types of family issues, as well as taking a look at the every day issues that affect their lives.

After a few meetings with Laura to asses what she really wanted out of a program,  I saw that she really wanted to to do this for herself and had a great determination to take on this challenge.  So, I decided that I would help Laura, and will be working with her for the next six months before she goes back onto the show later in the year to look at how she is progressing.

For those of you who don't know what The Jeremy Kyle Show is, then click on the logo above to access the ITV website and find out more about this ever popular daytime talk show that is helping change people's lives forever!

So, to help with her motivation and progress I have decided to keep a BLOG of Laura's Fitness & Lifestyle achievements to keep you as well as her family and friends up to date with all the highs and lows, blood sweat and tears that she endures along the way.   Expect to see Laura in one of your classes over the coming months - so please say "hello".

Good Luck Laura and keep up the great work...!
