With thanks to a fabulous group who enjoyed an invigorating May Day morning out and about with poles in both hands. We set off from a blustery Southoe towards Midloe, onto the Three Shires Way into Dillington and cut across the fields towards Perry. It was here we had a welcomed drink and pit stop at The Wheatsheaf put before we took to the Grafham Water perimeter track and back towards Southoe. The route was 9 miles in total which clocked up a fabulous 17,440 steps (on Mel's pedometer) and everyone had a great time. The sun then came out as we sat and enjoyed Neal's fabulous culinary delights and a nice glass of wine or beer to finish another great NW social event! |
